It’s a big athletics hall with a cafeteria and a changing room. The colours are light. The hall is decorated like any other sports hall, with a big entrance, lines painted on the floor and sound panels on the ceiling. There is one big party every year, the Sporting Club’s Christmas Party, which is on the last Saturday in November. It’s popular, about 800-1000 people between 16 and 65 come. We decide who we’re going with in advance. We meet in the afternoon to warm up a little before we go to the party around 8pm. For the annual Christmas party they switch off the neon lights and use hired light equipment instead.
